Aquatic Therapy

aquatic therapy

Aquatic Therapy is a treatment procedure that uses the natural buoyancy and resistance of water to make your recovery easier.

Our Belpre, Barlow, Caldwell, South Charleston, and Williamstown clinics have indoor heated pools, kept at a warm and pleasant 92 degrees. This allows the muscles to relax and reduces pain, while the resistance and buoyancy of water provide an excellent medium for increasing strength and endurance without straining your joints!

Aquatic therapy may be beneficial if you are currently under a doctor’s care for conditions such as:

  • Arthritis
  • Back or Neck Injury
  • Head Injury
  • Joint Replacement
  • Neurological Disorders
  • Orthopedic Injuries
  • Spinal Cord Injury
  • Stroke
  • Fibromyalgia
