Do I need a referral to start Physical Therapy?
Most insurances do not require a referral.


What is Physical Therapy?
Physical therapy is care that aims to help relieve pain and help you move and function better.


How can I know if physical therapy will benefit me?
Working with you and your doctor we can discuss your options and determine if physical therapy is right for you.


Can I choose my own physical therapy?
As a patient you have the right to choose where you want to go for physical therapy.


How do I schedule an appointment?
We offer many convenient locations that have morning and afternoon hours. Give the location closest to you a call to set up an appointment.


What should I wear on my first visit?
Comfortable, loose fit clothing that allows the therapist access to any problem areas. A comfortable pair of sneakers is also recommended.


How long will each appointment last?
Your appointments will typically last any where from 45 minutes to 90 minutes.


How long will I have to come to PT?
Each patient’s diagnosis is different but you can expect anywhere from 4 -12 visits on average. Your plan of care and number of visits will be determined during your initial evaluation.


What should I bring with me to my first appointment?
Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete any paperwork You may need to fill out paperwork. You will also need to bring your insurance information and a doctors referral (if you have one, but it is not required).


Do you have a wait list?
We don’t and will never have a waiting list. We aim to treat all patients same day if needed.


How many times a week will I have to come?
On average, two to three times per week.


What services do you offer?
Depending on location, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech therapy services.


Do you take walk ins?
We do! Although it may take us a 15-30 minutes to see you depending on volume.


Will PT hurt?
Physical therapy is not meant to hurt, but to relieve pain. However, as you restore mobility, pain levels may fluctuate. You may experience some temporary soreness from using muscles that are weakened or recovering.


What should I expect at my first appointment?
At your first appointment you may be required to fill out paperwork before getting started. After that your PT will do an evaluation of the part of your body that is bothering you. Once that evaluation is done your therapist will develop and explain your individualized treatment plan.
